A global lawyer with international exposure spanning a professional lifetime as practising lawyer and trusted advisor to a client base covering Singapore, Asean and, globally, Noor is a member of the Singapore Bar and has a Masters degree in Comparative Legal Studies from the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
 
Noor has worked in the law in Singapore, New Zealand and Jakarta, Indonesia. Her corporate and transactional practice includes representing entrepreneurs, partnerships and business start-ups as well as corporates and multi – nationals, in all aspects of the legal advisory function including from providing operational advice and oversight to leading corporate and business negotiations. Noor is adept at structuring cross border joint venture and other business arrangements in investment and operations within the Asean region and, globally. Noor is also responsible for having set up and managed the Ashurst LLP and Hogan Lovells’ associated legal practices in Jakarta advising on infrastructure development, regulatory matters, complex transactional structuring and cross border dispute resolution management.

These disputes involved claims such as minority oppression, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of confidence, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, conspiracy, misrepresentation, inducing breach of contract, passing off and trademark infringement.
 
Noor is highly valued for her deep understanding of, and involvement in regional and international business and industry, as well as for her social impact activities where she has focussed on the betterment of communities for women, children and, those in crisis.
